Bowling team member fires gun to try and clear crowd, bullet hits woman

A Detroit, Michigan bowling night turned ugly when a fight broke out inside the bowling alley and then spilled into the parking lot. A security guard from the bowling alley and a bowling league member came out to attempt to disperse the crowd. The bowler pulled a Glock handgun from his pocket to fire a shot in the air. He told police that as he went to fire the gun he was punched in the face, causing the bullet to ricochet. The bullet hit a woman standing nearby. Her injury was not considered life-threatening.
The bowler has been charged with careless discharge of a firearm. Police have confiscated his gun and have contacted the gun board to get his concealed weapons permit revoked.
Ohh shoot.
